Hi folks,
There's not been much discussion on this forum about this important matter, that will see .com prices rise substantially over the next 7 years, instead of falling as they would if operation of the .com registry was up for tender.

You can submit comments by email to [email protected] (they use a challenge-response system, so you will need to click on a link that gets sent to you, for your submission to be accepted -- it gets posted on the website about 12-24 hours later).

Overall, I think it's a terrible deal for consumers. Make YOUR opinion count, though, by submitting a comment. If a few hundred members here submitted their comments, it might help ICANN rethink this proposed settlement, and send it back to the drawing board.
