As far as I know, he is not jumping through hoops. And it is my intent to negotiate getting the name back.If you didn't intend on him getting the name back, you shouldn't have made him jump through hoops.
I am not going to fall for "I was on the road and had no internet access" bullshit song and dance routines when he's been in Tennessee making pornos. I actually saw ads posted for this purpose along with the email address to respond.
When I first got into the drop catching business years ago I would fall for these sob stories and simply give the name back to the person.
Then I realized I was the fool for falling for these stories. I was getting one or two a week. Then when I started asking for proof of prior ownership and most giving me the sob story would vanish. And then there were the threats to do bodily harm or sue me, neither of which has happened. Remember, this is for bidding on and winning expired names or drop catching.
So he's not jumping through hoops. If he is legit and serious, then he'll perhaps see a new site using his former porno web address/present email to see something completely different.
Besides, I have not heard back from him since Friday.
And, if I never hear back from him again I'll still have a great domain name for both adult and kids.
