Was anybody able to pick up camcontacts.net in todays drop? Looks like it could be a good one as bidding at enom was at $5000 on the drop.

Original owner(s) (CamContacts.com) really pissed-off at Network Solutions: "Once again Network Solutions have decided to mess things up..." (This can be found at the .com by clicking on "ENTER") Maybe they were able to recover the .net at the last minute just before the drop!?

Everybody likes to blame it on Netsol instead of taking resposibility for their own actions. Could they not have just renewed it ahead of time?

Agreed. NSI sends out plenty of renewal reminders (mail, email, etc.)

This one was not expired, was actually regd till 2008 prior to being dumped by Netsol. It is actually deleted due to "invalid dns" type breach of the TOU. Very interesting case.

yeah...check this out...

My coworker owned some TOP SHELF generic domains that her and her husband registered in 1995. They made a renewal payment one year for 2 of the domains. Netsol applied the whole payment to one domain and renewed it for several years. They lost a great domain. It was snapped immediately. I forget the name but it was something like forsalebyowner.com. A very generic very popular term.
