the 30th of May is my DNForum membership anniversary :D

Looking back, much has happened here. I laughed a lot, learned a whole lot too!

Do 'older' DNF members (like me) get special forum features? :D:cool::D

Listen Son, you've been here a year and you've managed what?

509 posts and a measly 413 DNF Bucks and now you want recognition?

Do me a favour!

Happy Anniversary

Hey, why didn't anyone tell me? Mine has quietly passed last week without a song! Yeah, a lot of things have happened, but most of us have definitely learned more along the way. Happy Anniversary ... to all "old" DNFers! :)

Mr Webname.

I think quality is a bit more important than quantity.

There are quite a few posters on this board who have been
here for only a few months and who have a TON of useless
posts. I don't like to name people, but I think we all know
who I'm talking about, there are a few of them.

It's important to contribute, but "lol" or "i agree" do not
cut it.

I contribute whenever I feel I have something important to say,
and after being here for quite a while, I feel that my 500 posts
are quite sufficient to put me in the "DNForum veterans" category.

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not saying YOUR posts are
useless, I'm just trying to send a message to all those who
don't bother to *think before they *post.

Best Regards,
Luc L.

when I was a newbie....I made a bunch of those posts, but now I am older (by about 90 days, lol) and wiser and I keep my posts focused on the subject and try to help everyone out, I am liking this business more and more every day, it is getting really fun to look for a good name at a cheap price, and then try and sell it for a profit, and I havent even gotten into snapnames or namewinner....

Many of my posts are in the appraisal section where I usually post my opinion on the name and its expected value....

I think many newbies feel pressured to get their name out there and be noticed, because everyone wants to be known as someone like NamePopper or GiantDomains or Nameslave..... but you guys are right, in the end, the quality of your posts is most important, and as one learns about this vast industry, one's posts become more and more helpful :)

right, joke or not, it leads to the same point. quality
is more important than quantity. as i've mentioned, the actual
comment wasn't at webname.
