I'm tired of seeing every domain listed as "Premium !!!". The word should be banned from dnf or if you use it, it'll cost you $dnf100 each time.

lol, premium charge. Sounds great.

Love it when new buzz terms come out, like "triple premium!" and "quad premium!"

What's next for LLLLL's? "quintuple premium!

This has been brought up around 1000 times. People will continue to describe their domain names as they want I guess. Don't look.

I think it takes time for a person to learn what a premium is.

When -ing, -ed, -ly, or even -er, -est are "dictionary words", anything goes.

Actually it's a time-saver. When you see premium in title you know there is usually no need to read further ;)

Septuple premium domain! XFGJQPZ.com!!!!! :lol::smilewinkgrin:

People think that since adjectives like "super" and "premium" works with the masses that they'll work in an envirment like this. In reality, those adjectives allow companies to rip people off:

Mac & Cheese - $1 for a 8 oz box
Super mac & cheese (same stuff) - $1 for a 6 oz box
Super Cheezy Macaroni (same stuff) - $1 for a 5oz box.

Is there a problem ? :)

It is used often to describe domains.
And, I'm guilty as charged.
http://www.dnforum.com/f529/premium-3-character-com-9wd-com-5vd-com-2td-com-thread-282517.html

In this case, I used it to describe domains I thought were a step above many
of the other 3 character domains for sale.

Dictionary describes premium as -
"of exceptional quality or amount";
also : "higher-priced"

If you open any consumer magazine or trade journal you will see the term used extensively.

And, I'm positive everyone of us have used the term at one time or another to describe one of our domains.

It tends to be more effective than saying
Please look at my "Crappy" Domain that cost $ 10K."

unless the domain name can change hands today for $,$$$ with little to no effort on the sellers part, using the word “Premium” to describe a domain is a sin... punishable by lighting

Just for giggles, I went to http://www.thesaurus.com for alternatives to this adjective. What they had was: exceptional, prime, select, selected, superior (and that was it.)

Funny part is, the first word on the Thesaurus.com homepage? "Premium content" ...

Thank you. I will try those the next time.

So, if someone posted a "premium" domain that is worth $ 250K and it
didn't sell immediately, it wouldn't qualify as a true "premium" domain and
they also committed a sin?
