Hi everyone,
We've had another hectic week here at Sedo - the buzz of trading that marked the end of 2004 in the domain industry continued into 2005...
Update - for any of you that missed DNJournal's Tuesday update, Sedo hit the number one for releasable sales with the following great transactions...
Almousa.net sold for ââ¬30,000. Almousa is an Arabic term and was snapped up by a company operating under that name.
HDDVD.de went for ââ¬6500 along with HD-DVD.de for the same price demonstrating that the industry's second-strongest TLD is experiencing continued popularity. Bahnurlaub.de was another German winner - it means "train holiday" in German and also sold at ââ¬6500.

Now, just to give you, my favorite Sedo customers :blush: a heads up:
The Sedo servers will be down for approximately 45 minutes at 5:30 CET on Friday morning.
This is necessary for maintenance reasons and that specific time was chosen to minimise inconvenience in as much as this is possible.
This downtime will only affect the homepage and will not, I repeat, will not, have any effect on parking.
The parking statistics in your accounts will not upload during the downtime, obviously but will be updated with no ill-effects once the server is back up.
Sedo would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt sympathy to any customers affected by the recent tsunami disaster.
Sedo has made a contribution to the relief effort and we hope our donation will go some way to relieve the suffering of those affected.
This was a tragic catastrophe and our thoughts are with all those that lost friends and family.
We have received several enquiries regarding the donation of parking revenue to relief agencies.
