I have a few dashes that do quite well :D Mostly bought them to compliment the non-dash but in some cases the dash receives more traffic and more rev very odd.

Dashes can sometimes be good with the right letters, numbers, or words, even in .ca

The government uses dashed domains for some of their sites.

Seeing all dashes as bad in domains is a big mistake IMO.

The reason i said it wouldn't be worth much ..to clarify was...not just because it was a dashed name. But also because the type in traffic would be directed to toronto-restaurants.ca ...i bet that site gets no traffic with no "s".

Just my two cents though

I agree, that the plural would be better.

As far as traffic goes, 13 visitors in 2008 so far, which is not a lot, but it's not terrible.

Most of this domains potential would be reached through development and SEO. Having these keywords in the domain would definitely help in this competitive space.
