Tracing domain history?

Is there a way of being able to trace the history of a domain, particularly ownership?
I know about Internet Archive but that is only of limited value.
Appreciate any information.

Whatever I enter as the domain name it produces "Zero Results" - even on my own existing domains!

It doesn't ask for payment or suggest that I have got to do something else to make it work - it's so frustrating

Well, it just will not work for me - I don't know what I am doing wrong but there are no other options for me to try - it just says "Zero Results" to anything I feed in.

If anyone can get it to work and can check a domain history for me I will of course refund via Paypal.

Please try this:

1) Replace the domain name with yours. (babe -> yourname)

2) Copy the url and paste it in your address bar.

Eventually with domaincert's help I managed to do the paid checks, unfortunately all fields in 3 checks turned up empty!

If anyone knows any other way that I can check a domain's history I would very much appreciate it.

OK... Our rcpthosts file was zero...
How that happened I have no clue...
I get about 1,000 spams a day and
I did a little work on the system to
