Ummm ... perhaps you could give us some details as to how "Track" could be used effectively (in any extension) ... and then describe your thinking with the specific ".ORG.UK"!? With more information I'll revisit. Thanks. Good Luck.

Ok, thanks for the info. I can't see it, though. One opinion. Good Luck! :)

Personally I would avoid .org.uk names.

I've just seen your domain list in the other thread. You have some very nice names there - I think some of the comments you received were harsh. Also your point about persistence is a lesson to us all. I wish you a successful 2003.

Thanks for the kind words Ed! I just bought the .org.uk for kicks. They are cheap at $5.00 each, so I got a few. Pure speculation.

Thanks Again,

.org.uk seems to be the required extension for charities to use in the UK.

I recently donated the .com name to a charity thinking that I was helping them - their adviser said that it was no good and that they had to use the .org.uk version. So the .com name is pointing to the .org.uk name simply to catch any type ins.

I also do fundraising for the Lifeboats and they use rnli.org.uk.

Don't see the point of regging a subdomain. you might as well
regg some .com.cn names. Or maybe you did ,just for speculation

what makes you believe .com.cn is not a sub domain? Besides folks in the UK, know a good name when they see one. I'd rather own a .cc or .ws, before a .com.cn. The ".org " in UK is just like ".org " for organization. I think the name makes sense, if you are an organization in the UK that is Track related. Hence the name " Track.org.uk" make sense? Just my opinion!
