Is there a place I can track domain sales? I know DNJournal.com posts the top sales in their newsletters but what I'm looking for wouldn't be there.

track domain sales?

what are you looking for?

sales under $2K

it's a vague question, as there could be hundreds or thousands of sales per day.

is there a certain niche' or group/category that you want info on?

the best way to get this info is....bid on every expiring domain and every domain up for auction at every aftermarket venue.

then you will know the closing prices of all of them.

dnsaleprice.com is another.
These are just reported sales, many thousands happen each day that go unreported as Don stated.

These are all valid reasons not to report a sale:

- bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement
- other agreement, oral or written, between seller and buyer
- sale might affect other pending sales or purchases
- no interest in being in the limelight
- sale might disclose trading techniques and reveal sources of other future purchases

all TRUE...

that's why you all rarely rarely rarely ever hear about any of mine...

even the handful I do share... I get so nervous sharing...
I always have that panicy feeling of -- is this one I CAN mention...
and i have to run double check before opening my mouth..
and for THAT reason... even ones I can mention... I feel better not...

but I do like to watch the SOLD Sites - Posting Inventory...

are there any others besides the 3 we all have so far mentioned in this thread... ??

some of the services post some of there in house sales like Moniker.com
and Sedo.com etc...

Thank you for the links, both of those are what I was looking for. I'm just looking to track sales for a niche (or niches). I know most of them won't go reported but many will which will give me more than what i need.

Bigge - I wanted to track sales, not move into the poorhouse. :)
