Trade.com is on sale at eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11153&item=2085961774

At this writing the current bid is $20,100. The reserve has not been met.

Outside of an auction site, I don't know what could be done with it. And, if the new buyer (assuming it gets sold) plans an auction site, it will still take major advertising to seriously break into eBay's market share.

What would you do with it if you bought it?

From what I can tell, online stock affiliate programs aren't doing too well right now. I personally think that investing in the stock market now is a crazy idea. I have trouble thinking this name will reach $35K, much less $75 to $200K.

I love the name trade.com

This is the best time to start putting a long term porfolio together,Why wait until the market goes up to put your money in
Like the old saying goes
if the stock price is so high you wouldn't buy the stock, then sell
if the stock price is so low you wouldn't sell the stock, then buy
all imo:cool:

Trade.com is a great name. Probably gets lots of etrade.com hits.

For an end user like some big stock brokerage the price can get pretty high...maybe 50-200k is my guess. For someone who wants to plug it into an affiliate program I'd say no more than 10-20k for it.

BTW: Whats up LB..long time no talk.

Hey, Chad. :) Funny, I was actually thinking about you the other day. I was heading to work and thinking about how cool it would be to where you are in this field.

I'm making good progress in the webmaster field. I'm hoping to have a breakout year in 2003.

If you have any more names you are trying to sell I always did appreciate seeing your lists.

Cheers,
LB
