Lets put together a list of all the generic domains that were reversed and the companies that captured them through the infringement claim process.

I am not aware of any, but I have not been following this subject very closely other than seeing in major media about this and that celebrity name infringement case.

The Anti-Phishing Bill to which I believe you are referring was just proposed last week by Senator Snowe of Maine. The bill still needs to clear hurdles before being passed, so now is the time the domain industry needs to band together to protect or rights and make sure the language in the bill is modified. Everyone should be against Anti-Phishing regulations, but the infringement language should be modified first to not put our names at risk. A copy of the proposed bill can be found here:

This post is intended to gather any information about past generic domains that have been captured from past registrants by means of infringement claim.

No one has identified one so far.

Why is this bad? I am not a proponent of identity theft.

Agreed, I am definately not a proponent of indentify theft either.

But, no generic domain names come to my mind when I think about infringement cases i have heard of.

I would like to know which generic domains that anyone is aware of that have been taken through infringement claim.

This bill is not about what has been taken in the past. This gives TM owners much more power now through the US government. Instead of going through the NAB or WIPO, they can file a complaint with the US government. The penalties are MUCH more harsh as well. Whereas the Lanham Act penalized domain owners up to $100,000 for each violation, this new Act proposes fines up to $6,000,000.
