I'm looking for ways to get targeted traffic to ValueTees.com. I'm not really looking for owners of traffic generating services to sell me their service (although feel free to post if you'd like) but I'd hoped to hear from those who could refer me to services they've tried and had success with. Thank you in advance!

Usually the traffic generating services are useless. They just eat bandwidth and money. Instead start an affiliate system.

Yes, Manish, I kind of got that sense. And I plan on the affiliate route soon.
But I was hoping for some positive experiences out there somewhere.

I think the whole "buy xxx hits" thing is worthless. However advertising on chosen websites may be ok for your site.

I would recommend Overture and Google for PPC.

google
overture
findwhat

all others are useless in fact sometimes findwhat is bad. You can also pick up some cheap clicks at bidclix

Don't buy traffic packages, most are either bots or autosurf or autoclick programs which are worthless.

I would say, dont buy traffic, as you have seen above.

The traffic that you buy is USELESS! Good luck with your website.

Thank you; manish ILoveDomains, Steen, alien, skylight and deepstar for your help. I've heard of the Google, overture and other programs but haven't given them a try. Your input helps me to focus my search. Much appreciated!

wordplay, if you go with adwords, there is a bit of a science to it.

How your ad is written.
What keyworde you bid on/use
How you catagorize each keyword: broad match exact match phrase match
What negative keywords you put in.

Once you get it right, it can be very cost effective.

maybe our adult banner exchange with 50,000 visits/day will be a good source of targeted traffic :) checkout

Kanoodle is working hard to compete with Google. They hired most of the talent that once worked at Sprinks when About.com made a big deal with Google for all of their targeted ads. I think that the main problem with them is that they are not scaled as big as Google yet. They have a couple of big clients and are about to launch an AdSense-like targeted text ad product.
