Traffic validation/numbers website ??

I used to go to statbrain to check numbers, I know it was never perfectly accurate, but it at least gave you an idea if a site or domain really had some traffic...

Now that it is gone is there any other alternative??

How do you guys try and check traffic numbers for sites/domains that you do not own?

But those numbers only capture users that have the Alexa toolbar, correct? I honestly don't know anyone who does...

Alexa is basically useless...although if someone claims a site gets 3000 uniques per day and it doesn't have an Alexa ranking (or the ranking is like 3,000,000) you should certainly be at least a little suspicious.
