The new October Cover Story has just been posted at DNJournal.com. Kevin Vo and Ammar Kubba: How They Became Friends, Beat the Odds and Hit It Big With TrafficZ is the inside story of how Kevin Vo, a shy 27-year-old first generation American, escaped poverty and found the personable partner and friend, Ammar Kubba, who helped him engineer the rapid rise of one of the domain industryâs most innovative (and profitable) parking companies.
The deck was stacked against Kevin Vo from the day he was born. His parents were refugees from the Viet Nam war who came to America with literally nothing but the shirts on their backs. Ammar Kubba, whose parents came from Iraq, had his own brush with poverty - but both men bounced back, found each other and formed a bond that is having a big impact on the domain industry.
One other note - we will be away covering the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East conference all of the upcoming week, so there will be no domain sales report tomorrow night. Instead we will bring you a double length report next week to bring you completely up to date on all of the sales that will have occurred since last week's column.
