I am new to the DN business and have not done a transfer before, only pushs. How long would it take to transfer a domain from godaddy to namecheap?
Thanks

be careful to not change ANYTHING in the domain's contact info before doing the transfer. I updated an admin email to facilitate a transfer from godaddy, and they forced a 60 day waiting period on me.

yes, there is no real guarantee...
it really depends on BOTH registrars, but the weight is usually on the losing registrar.
you know plug and play?
this is 'transfer and pray'

On my end, I have never had any problems. It seems to take about 5 day for a transfer.
