Two Noob questions

HI all,

just two quick ones.

1. Can domain get traffic and not be ranked in Alexa? Does Alexa consider type-in traffic? I understand that nobody probably will but still - in case anyone would like to share his/her experience on traffic estimation - that would be very helpfull.

2. Is there a point in going after 9$ domains on Snapnames? Anybody managed to get s good name around that price?

I've gotten some good names for $9 though Snapnames but they were ones I wanted to develop.

As long as you have a index.html/htm/php file in your domain, you will be ranked. Parked domains included. I think.

2. Is there a point in going after 9$ domains on Snapnames? Anybody managed to get s good name around that price?

Not that I know though.
