JoeMiller.us registered in 2004. .US works exceptionally well for U.S. Senate campaign.

IMO, .us is better vs .net for this type of use, and what with his U.S.A. campaign theme the .us works better than .com or .org for him assuming the cost of buying com and org would have been much higher than the .us cost. It was a smart choice and fits the extension very nicely.
