I've been made aware that there is now a registration fee to be in the dnforum.com.

I'm not sayin it's a bad thing.

I'm sayin it's a real bad and real grazy thing the way it is set up.

The fee to be a part of the forum is not the problem.

The problem is there is no option to pay anonymously.

There is no doubt law enforcement agencies monitor this board as they do many message boards.

The trend on most message boards has been away from requiring users to give their identities.

So it is surprising what has developed here.

With the patriot act part 2 - giving complete dictatorial powers to the government I would suggest any comment made by an individual against a government policy could very easily be subject to government subpoena.

I never really thought about the DNForum being monitored by the CIA.

It's a valid concern overall though, not without merit.

Is this what they mean by "chatter"?

Law enforcement has better things to do than to worry about entrepreneurs (including many minors) who are trading domains here.

Who cares if they know our identities? I use my real name in the WhoIs for all my domains.

A righteous person has nothing to fear.

You're obviously mistaken, I don't have any "all crazy".

The requirements for CIA agent must have declined recently...

This is a legal forum, at times apart from the rest of the board.

If you have never been touched in a malicious way by a government agency or even a civil lawsuit for slander on a message board then to have your identity known would probably not seem like a big thing to you.   :D

You can send someone to my office with a paper sack with cash in it. Cash is always appreciated. :)
