Uniques per Month Discussion

What has been your highest uniques per month for a domain?
(Mine is ~8k for an adult domain. Yea, I'm a newbie).

Which brings up the next question.
I was looking at some parking sites and came across
some of them wanting 1 million uniques a month for a domain
in order to sign up.
Seriously, if you have 1 million people visiting per month would you just
agree to share 50% of your earnings for a cheap template PPC
page? I agree that <10,000 uniques is prime for PPC stuff but
above that seems like a inefficient model.

So, does someone just start a site, put up a sign that says
(1 million uniques per month required) and people pretty much hand
you money though inordinate amounts traffic for ad partners?
Sorry, didn't mean to seem so cynical.

8K type-ins per month would be tremendous. The domain world is the purest and most fair business there is. He who is the smartest...wins. Study, study, study, and each day you will be smarter than the next guy.

Over 90 percent of the people in the game are bound and determined to own some of the most ridiculous names you could ever imagine.....in some extentions you have never even heard of.

Don't worry about anything else except getting the best possible names...names that when mentioned to a stranger on the street immediately draw an excited look. Stick to dotcom until you are making money hand over first, and then continue to stick with dotcom.

If you see a beautiful girl then figure out how to get the girl and nothing else will matter...you will be the winner. Do not listen to others who try to convince you that the ugly and fat girls will be the "in" thing in a few years.

Study first, buy second, or else you will spend half a year trying to sell your mistakes.

8K per month in traffic...you're off to a good start.

Beware of .us, IDN's,.info, and many other Black Holes. Do not even consider going that route until you have studied domains every day for a year...then delay going that route for another five years out of principle.

Keep accumulating names that get 8K per month in traffic and you won't need to listen to anybody.
