The thing about end users is you can not predict what domains they will seek.
I am always surprised at some of the domains that will gain interest with end users. Some of these domains are not very valuable and not particularly logical.
In the past months I have sold some of my worst domains to end users for decent margins. I have literally picked out my worst domain only to receive a $500 offer on Sedo within months. I just received an inquiry to my second worst domain.
Of course there are domains that will always be in high demand, generics, acronyms, one words etc...
The fact is there is a trend of random domains getting major sales.
It is just a matter of registering the right domain at the right time.
