I think that if they have gone to the effort to track you down & make you an offer on a name that they specifically want; then push for a little more ~ ask for $200 ~ whilst subtlety making them aware that there is a little room for manoeuvre.
Here's what happened, apparently some company was giving the limo company the name for free. I had a Snap on it because it expired. The "giving company" contacted me 6 months ago.
At the time I had an idea for the name so I didn't budge and told them I was not at fault.
ââ¬ÅThank you all. I'll say $200 but figure out a way to say it's negotiable (???How???).ââ¬Â
I am certainly no professional (... so you should probably take this with a pinch of salt!), but if you want the $200 price tag to sound negotiable ~ donââ¬â¢t bluntly ask for $200 ~ instead 'suggest' $200 & ask them what they think; thus giving them the opportunity to barter should they wish to.
ive sold bad names for thousands all because buyers contacted my whois...these were adult names for a business but so is the limo company they are pretty a big company..
