Unless your gonna use it for something else and develop it, I would sell it to the highest bidder.

I think $75 is good, but if you really think they want it, you can go a little higher. Say around $100. Just don't lose the deal and be too greedy.

I think that if they have gone to the effort to track you down & make you an offer on a name that they specifically want; then push for a little more ~ ask for $200 ~ whilst subtlety making them aware that there is a little room for manoeuvre.

Here's what happened, apparently some company was giving the limo company the name for free. I had a Snap on it because it expired. The "giving company" contacted me 6 months ago.

At the time I had an idea for the name so I didn't budge and told them I was not at fault.

Now the limo company's made an offer.

Thank you all. I'll say $200 but figure out a way to say it's negotiable (???How???).

I'll upsell web design services as well.

I am certainly no professional (... so you should probably take this with a pinch of salt!), but if you want the $200 price tag to sound negotiable ~ don’t bluntly ask for $200 ~ instead 'suggest' $200 & ask them what they think; thus giving them the opportunity to barter should they wish to.

Yeah, but if you say it enough times it starts sounding like a brand, I guess.

Sale price : $ 75
(less)Snap price: $ 70

Profit : $ 5

Not worthwhile. Unless you are in it for the kicks !!

Tell them that your acquisitons costs were around what they were offering.

I would settle for $ 100. The name is'nt great. Don't lose them, they could be your client for that domain !!
