Urgent! Hellp required- email compromised!

HELP!

My hotmail account (yes I know), which is my main account for a lot of things, has been compromised and my mail was being forwarded elsewhere. I immediately removed the forwarded email, but stupidly did not write it down. i think it was:-

or similar?!

I need urgent advice on how to stop this person abusing my details- they would potentially have access to a lot fo things of mine.

I am in the UK- who do I need to report it to? What can be done? Help please, anybody!!!

log into your accounts, change the passwords and get a new email.

Clean you PC also ....

Use a prog like Roboform for your passwords ... its a piece of cake to have strong passwords and change them regularly ( the software makes this a piece of cake )

At this point make sure you log into all your accounts. Such as registrar accounts, dnforum etc. Change your passwords.

In the future though, do not use hotmail.

thanks everyone, I am trying to contact everyone/thing that uses that account now. I received an email earlier today which was suspicious and the person logging in had tried to delete. I found it in the deleted messages folder and have it now- is anybody able to take a look if i forward it to them?

Is there a cybercrime department anywhere I should notify?

Get off line immediately .. boot into safe mode .. scan .. clean up .. reboot .. and repeat .. see how it goes from there

is like posting a Note on your front door saying

so please break in before I get back, thanks" . i.e. read Hack your email
whilst away.

Hi all, thanks for all the help. The hacker has hacked my godaddy account and I have no access, all other areas appear fine so far, and I have changed passwords and begun moving things around... will keep you all up to date.

Does anybody havce a way I can contact hotmail staff? I have looked through their pages for an email etc, but the only one I have found has come back as unmanned- I need to know what this hacker went in for, and what their email address was too...

btw, does anybody have a way to track this person, legally or otherwise- please pm me.

Get yourself a trustworthy firewall. Get norton 360 and zone alarm internet security suite.

I am desperate to catch this person.

They have stolen a large number of godaddy names and are making password retrieval request as fast as I can reset it. I have cleaned my pc and removed any malicious software, but it is impossible for me to know what information this person already has...

If anybody can locate them, I will happily pay a reward, as I will use every penny I have to string this @sshole up.

BTW, I have a VERY reliable firewall and normally would never have any large danger, but stupidly, I logged in at a friends house through an unsecured wi-fi connection, as it was absolutely necessary for me to monitor an auction at the weekend, away from home and work...

My another advice for you is to immediately deep registry whois scan all your domains, and take note on anything suspicious.

Notify Parked about the domain of a hijacker using their parking service. Donny will cut them off immediately.
