Urgent NameBargain question

Hello all,

I need to know this today.

How long does it take for NameBargain.com to transfer a domain name to a different owner?
I am asking, because I sold my first domain today, but the buyer needs the transfer completed by mid August, or the deal in no good.

If you've owned the name longer than 60 days, then it can be transferred to a different registrar. Have you checked the FAQ at NameBargain for transfers?

In the FAQ it does not say how long it will take, I was hoping someone here has done it before, and could give me an idea how long it took NameBargain to do it.

I recently sold a NameBargain.com dot-com that I had.

I did a normal registrar transfer from NameBargain to my www.domainduck.com reseller account. I then opened a reseller account for my buyer and transferred ownership to them with no fuss. Everything was automatic and no paperwork was required. The registrar transfer took 3 days and the ownership transfer was finished 24 hrs later. You can do this with DomainDuck.com, ENom, GoDaddy, etc., but the key factor is that you must have had the domain name for over 60 days, otherwise the registrar transfer is not allowed.

I faxed in the paper work yesterday and they just completed the transfer.

Wow that was quick - less than 24 hours.

The name was WeddingCDS.com and I don't think I should say exactly how much I sold it for - the buyer might not want it.
Lets say I made about 30 - 40 times the registration fee.
At least it will pay for other domains that I own.

I am really not it the business of selling domains, but I have so many, that I need to get rid of some.

Didn't you have to pay a transfer fee of $35 when you moved the name over?

No fee to move registrars, although I don't know if this is law. Some regisratrs may charge. I worked between NameBargain [ Register.com]and www.domainduck.com [ Dotster.com ] and at DomainDuck.com, members, using due diligence, can trasfer domain name ownership between themselves with no fees. Like Enom, GoDaddy, etc.

P.S. I use ClickBank.com to handle the funds.
