Google search results=6 million in quote marks for "expanded"
3,000 for "expanded.us"

Any ideas for applications or value?

Tough to say... Expanded what? I dont think the U.S. is planning to expand any time soon. This domain falls in the same category as my covering.us

Sorry, m8. I think this one is a $0

I think that this one has very limited upside ... due to its "past tense", in my opinion. Also, the ".US" is still very new, and unproven in re-sale. Sorry.
Good Luck.

Past tense really hurts, in all extensions. So I'm afraid this one won't do much no matter how .US is received.

Actually, I think Past Tense works in some cases... ie Wired, Buzzed, Unplugged... it's gotta be cool and marketable.

Actually 'expanded' rated higher than 'expanding'.

Those are good ones mindful. Of course there are exceptions to every rule.
