I have started to research the number of pages indexed in Google on the .us ccTLD. This is not as straight forward as other ccTLDs, because .us has millions of pages indexed on official state sites that must be properly filtered out (ca.us, ny.us, etc.). It is a little tedious, but worth it.

My goal is to update this the first week of every month with new data. So the August numbers show 68 million .us pages indexed in Google, compared to 65 million .in pages. And with .in, that is unfiltered and includes official/government content.
Overall, I was very happy to see 68 million .us pages indexed. Now we just have to wait and see how this grows into the future.
