Auction start bid is 500$ . 50% of sale price will be Donated.
To prove that its not lie. All transactions will be made though 1 person you choose (trusted one with more thant 1000 post). i recomment RaiderGirl if she doesnt mind. Or you offer condidates. Same role can be officially done by DNForum representatives.

Who makes profit from that ? Myself, families of victims (from donation), and society who will use this sites. Right now sites redirected to donation url.

Petrosc - Yeah i know, it will cause some anger. but somebody should do something about it. Everybody judging each other and it makes no good for others. Im pretty sure victim families even dont know about whats happening over here. But they will know Donation.

Its like politics ,,, Everybody against government, especially new independed countries but they dont have better alternate for that.

Right now i have even have even offer for 150$ .

If its gonna cause anger i wonder what exactly ? That i get comission or that even selling this domains ,though its gonna help families ?

I already PM'd Ilgar about this when he offered his domains to me, I strongly disagree with the profiting of these domains, I feel if there is a sale, that ALL proceeds should be donated to VT. With that said, I will give him credit for changing the forwarding from a parked lander to the VT Memorial link.

As for his Ebay page, I've been reporting these auctions for over 4 days now, and I did report his about an hour ago....If you still want me to handle the $$$, I'm willing to, anything to help VT.

How about your admonition that we should do something more than talk and help by buying your domain names? How about your hiding behind a charitable contribution in an effort to turn a profit? Anyone who can't read you like a book is a fool. I've never been so angry at a member of this forum. I hope you find the exit as easily as you found the entrance. You're a disgrace. Funny thing is, I'm not even critical of those who register these domains. It's your blatant brazeness that has me fired up.

Why don’t you register all of the victims name? I mean 32 .com with the victim names in them. Then you approach their parents and ask if they want to buy they their dead children’s domain names for a small transaction fee of let say $10,000? Imagine how much money you can make (and of course have it parked in mean while)

VirtualT - I trust my self, i donate every month certain amount for different charity organizations. People in forum dont have trust to people. Thats why i let them choose someone who they trust, not to make luck and trust game from tragedy.

Parent yell or sometimes beat they children if they dont listen them. Method can sound violent but consequence is good.

This thing about collect money for VA Tec victims is pretty strange.
They don't lost a home, a car, a good ... But a child!
If I lost a child, receive some money will not change anything and will not aliviate my sadness.
Plus wanting to keep 50% of this money imediately look likes a gimmic to make money and this is what people here are outlining.

Im still redirectin all domain to vt.edu site though i can make money by parkin them.

How about that? You say you have offer for $150. Where? From who? Are they with you? That fast offer.

You want to be paid for registration and your time? Great concept in domaining...one I never thought of. Being paid for time.

How about each person here charge you $50.00 for a consultation fee, time spent appraising your portfolio of dandy slaughter names, and for advice. If you go to doctor, doctor says don't smoke. You no like advice, you say no to doctor, but you still pay doctor for visit and advice.

I'm closing this thread. Another mod can open it if they wish. My gut feeling is if you want to contribute in some way, simply donate the reg fees to the appropriate charity instead of trying to profit from it yourself.

Besides all that, a sales thread should be in the sales forum.
