I'm having trouble deciding on the best way to price domains for retail sales. Do you list slightly high and expect to receive a lower offer. Maybe list at $250 and expect $150. Or do you hold out for the higher price and hope that the perfect buyer will turn up. Maybe it is better to start at $95 and hope for a quick sale.
If I use one of my domains as an example, perhaps I can get a few opinions. There is no time pressure for selling, and I could budget for an average sale time of around 7-8 months.
totsweb.com has a fairly limited use but is great if you want to start a web for tots, but there may not be much money in this unless you link it to something like toy sales.
I would guess that the sale price on this board would be about $25. I would probably put it in a sensible listing at about $125, or in a premium price list at $225.
Am I way out in my thinking on this. Remember it is a retail list that we are talking about.
