closed Value of hosting names with org extensions

what reseller value is their on hosting domains with org extensions?

for example i own greathost.org - the com would be worth a lot but the org obviously isnt worth much

:D

.Org is not good at all for hosting. .Net on the other hand is very acceptable. RackShack, as big as it is, still only has the .net.

yeah - think your right - just annoyed cos i keep finding all these top names where the org is the only decent extension available....for a reason i guess:)

Fonz,

I'm afraid .org just doesn't work well for hosting names.

.com is obviously great and I think the hosting genre is great for .net as well but .org just doesn't fit in.

It doesn't mean you couldn't sell it to the right person. As I have said before hosting names are hard to come by which leaves a lot of people out there desperate for a good sounding name, sometimes regardless of extension. ;)
