Hi everyone,

I have one domain that is always making huge income.
The income went down for some time as the casino law is in place
but yesterday for example it made: 19usd again
and almost every day the domain has income.

I just did a query and this was a result:
1 January, 2005 till 4 December, 2007 $6457.79

The domain is casino domain, parked and regged at Fabulous,
only clean (type in) traffic, Creation Date: 22-nov-2005 and has a
very high click through rate as the uniques are normal. (not high)

Before anyone asks I will "not" post the domain name here!
(or by pm!)

But, I al willing to generate stats like if you want to know what the
domain made from today going back one year... etc...

I am wondering how much the domain is worth.
Ofcourse, I would love to keep this money maker but, due
to some personal aspect I am thinking perhaps to sell it.

I hope you guys can give me more ideas about the worth of this
domain name.

kind regards,

Faisj

If the name is a typo of a real casino or casino site I would guess someone will pay 2-3 x annual so 10-15K if it is a typo of a generic like blackjack it could be 6-10 x or more
Good Luck

"Huge" income? It's just about $6/day on average.
If the traffic is pure type in then count for 8-10 years of income

How can purchasing a domain for 8-10 years of income be profitable for anyone (expect the seller) ? I don't get it, why some people pay that much for a traffic domain. I mean, you will get your money back in 8-10 years (!) Does the internet even exist 8-10 years from now? ;)

If you have a tested system (affiliate of other) that makes you a lot more per visitor than just parking, you can get your money back much quicker.

If your name gets 10 clicks at $0.30 per click for each 100 uniques, that's just 3 cents per unique. But if you have a tested system that converts at 0.5% and pays $20 per conversion, that's getting you 10 cents per unique.

So buying the name at a multiple of parking rev and then monetizing it better, makes sense.

Just shows how much I know about parking/monetizing. :)

LOL that is not "huge" income evibe :-D Believe me some guys here makes $40K per month from PPC.

Anyway, I am pure traffic guy so I value domains for its traffic. If it is not a TM name you can put average earnings per day x at least 3 years price tag on this domain.

With gambling domains, previous revenue history is not relevant, as the marketplace has changed; only revenue since June is relevant to sales multiples.

If it is 'pure' casino traffic, join a good poker or casino affiliate program and make more money.

or better yet, build your own webpage with various affiliate casino/poker links, poker/casino info products through Clickbank, and start a casino email newsletter (collect names and emails) so you can do follow up marketing.

Make sure they accept US traffic if you go this route - FullTilt and PokerStars are options.

First of all they don't pay up 8 to years. They are pure lying cakes! Offer your generic domain to them and ask for 8 years revenue. They start to ask questions, flip flop, turn upside down etc. So never sell your generic traffic domains. Never trade traffic names with a smart reseller unless it is a TM name.

Your question is similar to:

"I have a car, can someone tell me what it's worth?"
