Someone e-mailed me about a high profile domain I own. The e-mail headers were marked as spoofed by the screening software of my server. Naturally I asked them to place an offer via Sedo.

So they did, lowballing as usual. I responded with my minimum - and rather high - asking price.

24 hours later, their bid is gone. It doesn't even appear in the history page. I never received a cancellation e-mail either.

So I am now thinking, hmm....HMMMMM!!
Do you think what I'm thinking?

Maybe it was the "let Sedo bargain with the domain owner" system that they won't answer any questions about? It's an odd and dangerous game when a broker publicly represents the buy and secretly represents the seller.

Talked to my Sedo account manager, most likely a glitch. They can't find the phantom bidder either.
