Would there be an issue with registering a domain with the word visa

for example visabusiness , visacar , visawidget.com etc etc?

There is no reason to run away scared if you follow the advice given.

If you want to use the visa name as to some financial aspect - you may as well bend over now. If as Geoffrey mentions - anything having to do with a political visa or the like should be fine and you have that right.
