Who PhD seemed to have gotten beaten on by people who thought his appraisals were worthless and unhelpful at one point. I think contribution needs to be appreciated in many cases, or the critics need to step up to the bat and show how it SHOULD be done. Guess they didn't like appraising in general.
I know I'm not too interested in appraisals myself (except on a lark).
Why should a paying member suffer the consequences of giving fair appraisals? ie. less sales because half of their potential customers are pissed at him/her because of an appraisal.
I would be more than happy to appraise names all day long if DNForum compensated me for providing them.
