Wanted: Domain Wanted: Someone to fix osCommerce/MySQL problem.

I have the following error on a site of mine, which is displayed at to the top of the site, highlighted in pink...

"Warning: The sessions directory does not exist: . Sessions will not work until this directory is created."

The site is based on a modified (old – 2002) version of osCommerce. This error has just appeared in recent weeks. It appears the online forms are not working correctly either.

I'm looking for someone to fix/patch this problem, if possible. If any of you know/think you know what the problem is, and how to fix it, please either PM me or reply to this thread.

Got root access? Access to httpd error logs, etc?

I have root access. The problem is the part of this highlighted in bold doesn’t appear to exist...

Figure 2 shows the Sessions listing page under the Admin>Configuration>Services>Sessions section

Not sure where that leaves me? I don't mind paying for someone to sort this out, if anyone has any ideas?

Most Cpanel has automatic update for PHP and MySQL.
Your old OSCommerce script may not work on the new update.

The first thing you want to do is to check the log to see if PHP and MySQL have been updated recently.

If you have root access then check the permission from the /tmp folder.
Sometimes the session file cannot be created because there are a lot of temp/junk files in the folder. A cleanup would also fix the problem.
