I love watching new technology being announced. Domains in all flavors snapped up at moments noticed.

Motorola announced late yesterday the new "RAZR2"

http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&taxonomyName=hardware_and_devices&articleId=9019482&taxonomyId=140&intsrc=kc_top

So I check for names that are available. And this morning all are snapped up.

Here are a few examples.

Razr2.com and .net were the only two registered yesterday morning. And both are owned owned by motorola. Now all that remain is the .us. I suspect because of the anti-whois privacy on the domain.

Razr2phone.com is still the only one registered surprising considering "razr phone" 5,443 ovt and 31 ovt with ext.

Razrtwo.com
Razortwo.com Both are gone but rest of the extensions remain.

Razrto.com
Razorto.com are still available

MotorolaRazr2.com Has been registered for awhile but without whois privacy, you are asking for trouble guy.

razr2cell.com is available. Surprising. We'll see how long that lasts.

Maybe the most surprising are that the models are still available in the .com

razr2v8.com
razr2v9.com

Eh, I was bored this morning. If you see any you like feel free to send a donation my way.

Problem is if you are a USA resident you can also be sued for damages, loss of sales etc. losing the domain is no big deal lawsuits that can break you are

reg razor3.com

Funny thing is razr3.com was registered before razr2.com

razr3phone.com was registered on the same day as razr2phone.com no doubt by the same person.

Now that I don't know about. Motorola doesn't own razrphone.com and it's been sat on since 2004. But hey, you never know when they will pull the trigger.

I grabbed some similiar type domains a few weeks ago and got the usual "this is our trademark" wahhhhhh  C&D threat letters the next day or so...so they remained parked for a week or so until the next one arrived in my inbox with their intentions to impose 100k fines and yada yada yada...and they did'nt get much traffic and very few clicks so I just deleted them...no real harm done...someone else snapped them up after my deletion though..lol

I know who owns razrphone.com. If you find my first post as a member of this forum I am asking for an appraisal of that very name. Somebody contacted me 15 minutes after that post and bought it from me.

You sold razrphone.com? Congrats, I hope you got a lot for it.

BTW your first post in the search here is for an appraisal of 5afootball.com. Another nice name. You have a link as I can't see to find it.

Also I see razorphone.com sold here with a BIN of $4000.

Stange that razorphone.com actually has better overture and overture with ext. than razrphone.com

Maybe the posts don't go back far enough. Or I think I had a mod delete it because the thread was immediately showing up like #1 in a google search for razrphone.com. All of my "developed" sites are down at the moment as I've been lazy about moving them to new hosting. Been lazy for a few months now.
