Hi I have a weather related domain and i parked it in namedrive but the CTR was very low (under 2%) then i moved it to parked where i am getting like 3.5% CTR.
The domain is getting like 400 uniques a day but not been able to monetize properly.

If anyone of you have any idea, i would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Simon

"monetize properly" I wouldnt consider that monetizing it properly, thats just hoping youll get some clicks now and then. If more and more people put unrelated ads on domains and websites, advertisers are going to pay less and less for the untargetted traffic your sending them

If the people are looking for the content of a specific site then the CTR will probably always be low because when they get to the page they see they have made a mistake and will click away. Your best bet is to have a minisite like what was suggested, with a feed of weather news/forecasts, maybe a general article on a general weather related topic, and some adsense. Also some eye catching photos of weather related subjects might keep people lingering on the page longer - instead of clicking away immediately - storm photos, etc.
