Webmail.com is listed in today's RickLatona.com newsletter, BIN for $40,000

I replied 'I'll take it, SOLD' ...

And after about an hour it turned out as a typo

This was a typo. The name is webmall.com.

:disappointed:

I think you'd be better off paying forty grand for webmall.com than for an "email" clone that you can't monetize.

The other free email providers are up to 7GB.. How are you gonna compete?

Take webmall.com for the $40k and put some affiliate links on it. Take a look at abestweb.com . They have many affiliate managers who will give you feeds to put up on your site.

I believe I can monetize Webmail.com and get $40k in 365 days easily

It isn't that hard for a Alexa 45k domain.

Anyway, it's time to sleep ... :asleep:

Like DNXwiz said, good luck with that :)
Gmail / Hotmail / Yahoo rule the email arena.

i think webmail.com can be a great name for an email service. The UI would have to be pretty slick and should work with any email via IMAP as a paid service. Not everyone has webmail.

the rule the email service, but this doesn't mean you can't monetize webmail.com.

You've got to be kidding, webmall over webmail?

That name would get a boat load of traffic and that alone would factor out the crappy conversion.

Would have been a snip at $40k

To give you an idea, I own the .biz version...

Hmm... Seems lots of you like the name WEBMALL.COM but have anyone shown interest in it, if it looks quite cheap?

Ah, love arguments that are based on stats.
Stats are made to be proven wrong.
Stats say that you park to monetize. Good luck with that.
Webmail? Yeah. Ugh....email. I used mail and pine since the dawn of Internet.
Nowadays, most Joe Public folks use Gmail.
Who gives a shit about 'web mail'.
On the other hand, WebMall can be the biggest mother****ing retail space on...the web.
A non-brainer, really.
For $40k I'd buy a generic, of course but still - I would not spend 5 figures on webmail and have my ass kicked by Big Brother Google.

just put up $399 for EveryDayIncome.com at JustDropped, it will make you feel better.

There's a lot of small time email services doing good business, you don't have to compete with Wallmart to run a shop.

webmall does zero for me. i would never pay xx,xxx for that name
you haven't listed it have you Theo? hence the entusiasm lol
no accounting for taste

to me, webmall is even more dated than webmail and how you gonna comperte with the even bigger boys?

webmail would at least be a free email service, and free email stands a chance when the big players only have left [email protected] lol

also how is webmall gonna compete with ebay or amazon? without tons of startup cash and a team?

webmail was worth 40k in terms of you could sell to a reseller in a heartbeat and make a pile or develop

im very surprised theres any love for the webmall name imho

maybe as we just dont use the word 'mall' in the UK

ok then , Pall Mall , lol

WebMall.com sounds like a typo to me, webmail.com would be a pretty good email address,
[email protected], sounds better than gmail, yahoo, not as good as hotmail.

But sometimes I think a domain won't take off and it's a huge site, like flickr.com. Maybe if the web goes 3D and VR webmalls will be how it's done. Webmall.com is a risk investment to me, webmail should get 1,000,000 email accounts in no time.

Just checked webmail.com is owned by Anything.com, try buying it for under $2 mil.
