It looks like the music industry is going after unlicensed Lyrics sites. This new Yahoo! Lyrics site released today is the first legal lyrics site on the web (licensed by the major music companies).
Perhaps the availability of licensed, legal song lyrics will spur Apple to add Lyrics inside iTunes tracks, plus display on iTunes, Apple TVs, iPhone and iPods. This Yahoo!, Gracenote release may bring lyrics out of the closet and into the mainstream in many media sources/devices.
