Hey guys, I have a guy that keeps telling me that he is unable to view one of my websites, I haven't heard this from anyone else, just him. He has tried clearing the cache and cookies and has even contacted his IP and still nothing. Is there website where you can check to see if your site is showing up in certain areas? He also says that when he types the website into Google that it will show up as #1 but when he clicks on it he is re-directed somewhere else. Not really sure what's going on. Any ideas?

browser compatibility?

Is there flash loaded? Java script? PDF files?

They may need to update.

I guess he contacted his IP and they said my site or server was blocking his IP, though I haven't blocked anyones IP, any ideas?

Could also be a browser hijack. But have him open a Command Prompt (i.e. DOS) window and type:

tracert www.yourdomain.com <enter>

then mark/copy the results and send to you via email. This shows the full route that his requests are taking, and you can see if they're reaching your server or getting blocked elsewhere. PM and I can help interpret.

could it be that a server is reading one server as a source of spam, junk, or threat.

Having this problem again, seems to only be affecting people in certain areas. Can everyone check out this and see if it works for them? Why would it be only a certain area?
