Is this a random number generator?
Nope, why would you say so?

Rechecked: Alexa seems to be an important factor though, see
http://wvcalculator.com/www.alexa.com
As they don't have a ranking it didn't reach the multimillion value normal big sites do.
Kind of weird how every name I checked says traffic is only 15/day. Also odd why I see zero value on domains which have verified sales of xx,xxx and obviously to anyone worth more than zero even without the sales records.
BTW, alexa.com gets boatloads of traffic and not 15/day and is worth much more than only 128k.
For domain valuation valuate.com should be more appropriate I suppose ^^Thats why you'll see web.com appraised for hundred of thousands rather than millions.
Yeah, well I suppose its more to estimating
And I already mentioned it before, it evaluates the website not the domain
For domain valuation valuate.com should be more appropriate I suppose ^^
Cheers
@Aleksandar - can you give an example.thanks
I realize such tools are not that accurate but how in the world would it estimate one of the most active sites on the web alexa.com gets only 15 page views a day? However, the tool reports Alexa.com has Yahoo Backlinks reported of 2,086,394 so how is it possible the tool thinks with over 2 million backlinks it could only get 15 page views? Makes no sense at all. Plus, other sites I know getting good traffic were also reported at 15/day.
With such hard to understand gross inaccuracy you would be better served not even trying to estimate traffic. Better yet, why not use a different method of judging the traffic? In addition, I fed it a valuable keyword name (3 words long) which is a nice website and recently sold for over 50k but it reported a value of zero! Sorry, but with such staggering inaccuracy I really feel your site has little if any value unless major improvements are made.
I don't really understand the first part? Were you referring to alexa.com as an example just like I mentioned before? Also it seems like it is also using compete.com stats.
So what you're saying is that the tool is nowhere near accurate as it's values bear no relation to *reality*? Not exactly a useful tool then. Will file it with all the other pointless 'estimators' out there - in the trash.
