Noticed a huge billboard in my city today
It just read
"neurocam.com
Get out of your mind"

Just spent a couple of hours googling and I am more confused than ever about the motives and why they would spend not an inconsiderable sum of money on billboards

Where in Melbourne did you see it, anyweb? :)

Do you remember the marketing hype that went into scape.com a few years back? It was Village-Roadshows' portal to end all portals, which ultimately ended very suddenly, losing Kerry Packer a fair amount of money ($40 million??).

It's... art. Or is it?

"Well spotted, a very astute observation and very relevant to what we are trying to do with Neurocam. I am up to page 385 (The book was in fact recommended to me by one of our conceptual advisers) and it only gets better. I hope I have not given away too much by giving you this suggested reading. There is a chapter where Conchis is talking about a new kind of theatre where there is in fact no audience which is extremely interesting, especially when considering the work of artists like Peter Burke, Robin Hely and Jason Maling. However I still stress that art or even theatre is not the key to Neurocam."

Needless to say I almost fell over with shock. I snapped this photo with the camera on my mobile phone (hence the poor quality... sorry) and immediately ran home to make this post.
Has anybody else seen this billboard? Are there any others in other locations? What does this mean for Neurocam?
At the very least, I guess this means there are about to be a whole lot more people following the orders of Bridget Fischer and co..." (& more)

After much reading, I think it's just a curious game.

Maybe its just some freaked out dotcommer worried at the plummeting value of .com and trying to create some silly spin for it?

Like I said, it's art. An interactive art experience, it seems.
The people behind it are artists.
