Really, for use, YOUR OWN country code and, for some applications, .TV are the best. .BZ, .WS, .CD and other such 'registrable by all' country codes are worth little. .TV is the only 'small country' code that has caught on. It actually is named for Tuvalu, a tiny, decent island country. .WS stands for Western Sahara, a near pointless country, .BZ is for Belize an english speaking Central American country known as a home for many of North Americas stolen cars amongst other things, and .CD is the CC for the Congo one of the poorest and deadliest of all African countries. Personally, I don't really want an association with those countries! The two letters for respected first world countries such as, (especially) .co.uk and .de are excellent as is, likely, the new .eu extension but residency requirements are in force for many of these extensions. .DE is the second most used extension after .COM, for what that is worth! .US, .CA, .FR, .AT and other mostly baggage free, first world democaracy country codes are are reasonably good too but their value is tiny next to .COM.
