lol

my domains are my "high tech" toys.

i can play with them whenever i feel like it, and many of them increase in value.

i can also trade them or sell them for much more than i paid for them, which you really can't do with all the new gadgets, because they become outdated every year. i refuse to fall into that trap.

i probably would still be using my 'startac motorola flip phone' if i had not lost it. it was a great phone. i could throw it against the wall and it would continue to send and receive calls, even in the 'subway' or inside large steel buildings.

heck...i never even owned a pager! which is now virtually an extinct gadget.
one reason why, is because i didn't want to be so accessible.

my desktop pc was purchased in 2002 and i have been thinking of getting a new one, but i just love the way the old bugger makes noises, even if one of the side panels is hanging off! :)
when i think of how much money i've made with that pc, i just can't see myself getting rid of it.

guess i'm just too "ole skool"

i'm really waiting on an "all in one" gadget that.......

makes phone calls
sends/receives email
views webpages
watch tv
play music
takes pics/movies
monitors blood pressure and hearth rates
does automotive diagnostics
prints receipts

and makes a nice cup of coffee!

:)
