now that they are officially accredited? I think I am going to be moving my names to them. The enom partnership made me leery but now they are their own register.

Are they any cheaper? I liked there services before, but always moved them out around renewal times because of there prices.

Your best alterative is www.needname.com ETP since 2001.

I can also help you get a subreseller account with needname.com to get more saving for your domain names.

Send me detailed info thru pm if you are interested.
Regards,
EM

Thanks, but i'm ok with Moniker for now unless you can get down to the $6.00 range. I was just curious if NameCheap dropped there "regular account" prices as i think i remember them being $8.88?

I use NeedName.com/Enom, can't matched moniker reseller price. I prefer to use enom because of DNS management e.g. cname and forwarding.

Just a good alternative with namecheap.

Cheers.

Exactly, me too. If they will offer same prices as MOniker/Enom I would move there. And Richard always cared about customers. Also hopefully he will soon offer interface for accredited registrars....

I buy 97% of the names I have at Namecheap and always tell people to buy from them. Any questions I have they always answer and fixes the problem. A++

Yes, I never had any complaints about them.

They have a website with a good interface and a good navigation. So just start registering names @ namecheap. You won't regret it :)

Yes they have a good interface. I like them and I am glad they are moving forward cause I don't feel safe with Enom :)

I like their interface but prices are high and I have to say sporadic support. I have actually sent 3 emails regarding a support issue one time and to this day never rec'd reply. They used to have a phone # but that is gone now..
I am moving names to Moniker when renewal comes.

However, I would still recommend them if you can't go with Moniker.

Hey guys I heard from their forums they are making their own reseller program. How cheap do you think they are going to be?

Are they still managing names they sold for eNom? I was trying to buy a name from this guy and he said it's at Namecheap and that the whois says so, but even their own whois says eNom. Is the seller confused, or does he have access to another whois that would say Namecheap?

Edit, later: just saw that another whois service says "registration service provided by" Namecheap. I guess that's what he saw.
