What does 'Vessu' look / sound to you?

I have the name vessu dddoottt com and may going to develop it into a retail shopping site that deals dresses, shoes, wears, etc.

I'm not a native English speaker so I would like to know what does the word 'vessu' sounds / looks to you? Is it worthy of a brand?

Sounds pretty good. If you build a strong brand visually (logo, advertsing, etc.) it may work fine.

Your challenge will be word of mouth, as the word vessu could be interpreted as vesu, vesoo, vessu, vesou, vesue. You see what I'm getting at. Keep in mind it has worked for other very successful corporations such as google, yahoo, etc. But thats also probably not a fair comparison, due to all the other failed companies we have never heard of.

Personally I would see how much I could sell this domain for and use the funds (plus some additional) to to take on something with a more clearly defined spelling. I would do this before investing a significant amount of money in to the development.

IMO you should pick a better domain that people can spell easily. If this is the name (Vessu) you want then you should also pick up Vesu.com (owned by Nokta)

Double "s" kills it as it's a made up word that noone knows how to spell right (when spoken about).

Thank you all for the input. Very helpful. Did a few concept designs for 'Vessu' and it looked not bad. I'll keep looking......it's hard to find a name that strikes me or affordable...probably it doesn't matter that much, or probably it does....
