I had few domains that were getting about 20-30 uniques /day at sedo and i recently move them to Fab and now they are showing about 5 uniques/day and about 20 impressions/day.
When is a visit counted as impression and when is it counted as a unique by fab program?
looking forward for an official answer

This is not an official answer simon but has been discussed before, fab impressions are total times the domain was hit , including spiders/bots/image etc....and uniques are when a browser actually gets opened from a unique ip , sedo and others show a lot of views that are actually image hotlinks ,spiders, bots etc...as uniques, but are not actually visitors.

Hi Simon,

Fabulous records impressions as the total number of views/hits your domains receive; basically, any activity a domain receives, including spiders/bots.

Whereas, uniques are the number of impressions/views your domain receives from "unique" users visiting the domain through a conventional browser; a unique is a user that has not visited that domain in the last sixty minutes.

Often you may find that some of your domains are receiving volumes of impressions, yet no uniques, this is most likely spider/bot activity. However, Fabulous only records "known" spiders. For example, google, yahoo, msn, etc.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Cheers,

Mike

What about multiple "page visits". In other words, they click on another suggested catagory link on the page and then come "back" to it... or does it even TRACK that?

Hi GoPC,

We define a "Click" as the action that a visitor takes when they click on a PPC link from your domain.

We only record clicks on PPC links, not on "Related Links".

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Cheers,

Mike
