Can anyone give me a definition of what a Godaddy closeout is?

Also what is a Namejet pre-release?

GoDaddy closeout domains are e pored domains that never got any bids during it's expiration. GoDaddy tries to cash out by selling the domains for $12 or less. Once you purchase you'll be hit with renewal charges. $12 purchase will cost you around 18-22 depending on tld

prerelease domains that are about to expire.

Ignore what I said about NameJet. It's wrong.

NameJet FAQ
What is a Pre-Release name?
Pre-Release domain names are expired names provided through exclusive partnerships with some of the largest and oldest domain name registrars in the industry. NameJet gives you exclusive access to some of the best expired domain names in the industry.

Yes so they are basically the same as Godaddy closeouts and are deleting domains that are exclusively through them rather than going into the general drop
