Pi isn't random, it's infinite. A direct analogy would be to try and pinpoint the exact spot on a circle where it's touched by a tangent. You can't do that, because you can make the circle infinitely larger.RANDOMO answering if pi ever comes to an end! Anyone see the 'channel' in that?

At the school where I taught for six years, in the hallway between my classroom and the one nextdoor, someone hung a poster with 75 digits of pi. Each time I walked down the hall, I would try to remember one more ... until I finally had them all. (The rap song later came to me in a dream.)Once I wrote down from memory 50 decimals of pi. My friend laughed thinking I was writing down random numbers. Took another piece of paper, wrote down the same numbers. I can still recite 50 decimals of pi - but only in Greek![]()
