Snuck into MSG with a bogus CNN Media badge during Game 7 of 1994 Stanley Cup Finals to see my NY Rangers win the Stanley Cup!!....and then used the badge to get into the private party afterwards and I got to party with all the Rangers...and drink from the Stanley Cup!!!...:)

:first:

Tony, that is ingenious -- any photos with Messier, the celebration?

I have a big fear of planes.
Never talked of this to my family too.

When I have to take a plane for holidays...I just say "hey...wake me up when we arrive...I need to sleep some hours"
It was plenty of valium for me when we flew from Philly to Venice and Venice to Philly.

Plenty!!...:)

With Messier....Kovalev.....Leetch and his dad...Joey Kocur.....Beukeboom.....Larmer....Richter...my boy Kypreos....and many more....it was surreal.....:)

You are SOOOOOOO BUSTED!

PS - how we did it...ripped off media credentials off of locker room doors.....color photocopied them at Kinko's.....got a passport photo headshot taken.....stuck it on media credentials......laminated the credential......used a hole-puncher to snap two holes in media pass......used a lightbulb metal cord to wrap media credential around neck....and VOILA!!!.....an authentic CNN media pass...with a bogus name...around my neck....and walked right past security by the media entrance into MSG...and up the media entrance elevators into the arena....:)

Busted????...i didnt get busted that nite....i'm gonna get busted now??..lol..:)

I used to do it legally. I worked for the advertising agency that did all of (insert major hardware chain name) advertising. I had all the collegiate contacts and print ads. Free tix to all the acc football and basketball games. There is nothing in this country that can match up to ACC basketball. Another co-worker had the nascar thingy. So it was free races in corporate boxes. Not only did these teams pay for sponsorship, we paid to place ads in their programs etc - buying "space". The perks were incredible. Later when I got into the medical profession, the husband of one of my wife's co-workers is a big time GMC rep and dealer. So it was all the unused tix to Charlotte Hornets (now Bobcats) games and Carolina Panthers. A hospital I worked at has boxed seats to the Carolina Huricanes.

I feel your pain. I went to the Stanley Cup with the Hurricanes (legally of course).
