What is the deal with Search feature?

Why do i search for a thread and then it takes me to google? Then i have to click on google...and usually it will tell me i have to upgrade my membership...on a thread that should be seen by all?

I haven't had that problem yet, but it is definitely annoying when I do a search on the site and get taken to google with the search results...

Search button on second red bar - you can choose "web" or "forum".
Search link on third red bar - search forum only.
Search this thread - will only search this thread.

Cheap attempt at putting Google ads before members eyes. IMO
